- Can I bring my own CD's
for you to play?
- Should we have the
hall provide a table for you?
- How do your DJ's dress?
- Does the
"contracted time" include set up?
- Can we purchase
additional time at the end of the event?
- Are you full time DJ
company or do you moonlight in this business?
- Do you play requests?
- Do you bring lighting?
- If we rent
your Karaoke gear can we hook it up to our home stereo?
- Is a security deposit
required when renting equipment?

Of course! If you have songs that aren't listed on the music
list and you're confident that the crowd would respond favorably to hearing them, "A
Sound Investment" welcomes playing your CD's. Let us know in advance what you will be
bringing as there is a chance we may already have them in our library.

No, that is not necessary. "A Sound Investment"
sound systems come complete with attractive enclosures housing the components. The
enclosures are covered in Ozite and made to look like a "DJ Booth". Other DJ's
place their components on a table top where exposed wiring can be seen. Our wiring remains
hidden from view.

"A Sound Investment" DJ's come dressed for the
occasion. If your engagement is a formal affair our DJ's wear a tuxedo. If it's a more
casual affair a suit might be more appropriate.

You DO NOT get charged for our set up or travel time. "A
Sound Investment" starts playing at the time you specify and runs consecutively until
the contacted time period is over. If we are contracted for 4 hours and you need
introductions at 7:45 we will continue until 11:45.

Yes, you can always purchase additional time at a rate of $35
per half hour or $50 per hour. We always recommend that you contract "A Sound
Investment" for the minimum 4 hour time period, instead of 5 or 6, because you can
always purchase more at the end of the event if you need to. This way, you don't have to
pay for more than you need.

"A Sound Investment" is a full time company.

7. Do you play
requests?
Yes, IF they are appropriate for the crowd. Sometimes, guests
request music that would not be within the crowds best interest (questionable lyrical
content etc.). We discourage these kinds or requests, however, if your guests request
music that would complement the crowd, we will be happy to play them as long as it doesn't
interfere with the Bride's mandatory requests.

"A Sound Investment" does not normally bring
lighting to a Wedding Reception. Alot of brides don't want their reception looking like a
disco and request we not bring them, however, if you believe your engagement will be
enhanced by lighting, we will provide it free of charge.

Yes, you can hook it up to your home stereo, however, we do
not recommend it. Sometimes guests have a tendency to get carried away singing and
SHOUTING into the microphone. This can be very damageing to an unprofessional sound
system. We recommend renting a professional sound system, especially if your party will
take place in a large room. Ask "A Sound Investment" about renting a sound
system. We will be happy to provide you with a system that will bring out the best in your
guests performances. If you have a small party, in a small room, and you have responsible
singers, your home stereo can do the job.
